Unit Two: World Religions Assignment 1: Preview Reflection and Blog Post

I think that people need religions to inform us where our spirits go after death. Also some people think that a religoin definds who you are. But people who are atheis think there there is no such thing as a religion and that there is no god. I also think that people have religions because they want someone to pray to when they are having a hard time or when they are going thru good times, or they need some one to look up to.

What does it mean to be civilized? What makes something or someone "civilized"?

To me being civilized means to be sifisticated and be lady/gentlemen like. Civilized people know how to handle there selves and they know how to follow rules and restictions. I thinck being civilized also means to be calm in situations.

Some people might think that was isn't necessary but I think that sometimes you have to use force to get what you are after. Me personaly, I think that wars that the people fight are for no
reason. The only war that I think was worth fighting was the War of Independence. That war was for a very good reason but other wars.......I really dont think were called for
